    Templeton Library’s Flea and Maker’s Market returns

    Over 30 vendors will offer handmade crafts, collectibles, western gear, jewelry, furniture, and vintage treasures

    – The Templeton Library’s Flea Market & Maker’s Market will take place on Saturday, July 6, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Templeton Library parking lot at 1173 S. Main Street. The Frilly Filly coffee trailer and Red Rooster food truck will be on site.

    Over 30 vendors will offer handmade crafts, collectibles, western gear, jewelry, furniture, and vintage treasures. The event occurs every first Saturday of the month through September. The public is welcome, and vendor applications for a space can be found on the website templetonlibrary.org under the “upcoming events” tab.

    The library’s summer reading program is ongoing.

    The library will open early at 8 a.m. on Flea Market Saturdays. The Summer Reading Program is ongoing, with prizes awarded for every 80 minutes spent reading or being read to. Participants will also receive a ticket for the grand prize drawing on Aug. 6 at 11 a.m. The grand prize is a red mountain bike donated by Janice and Steve Tollefson, along with other large prize baskets.

    Templeton Library is a donor-funded free public library, completed in 2022 without government or taxpayer funding. It is located directly across Main Street from Templeton High School. Volunteers serve as storytellers and guide young readers to a range of book titles and literature. Proceeds from the Flea Market fund operations, book purchases, utilities, maintenance, and landscaping expenses.
