As captain, striker, and lead scorer of the soccer team, Dalia Romero of Tenaha High School demonstrates exceptional leadership qualities, advising and motivating her teammates.

Dalia has maintained honor roll status throughout high school and is an active member of the JCC and Beta Club, boasting a GPA of 3.7. In addition to playing soccer, she competes in track, specializing in the 3200-meter run.

Her exemplary work ethic extends beyond sports. She consistently attends practices, maintains high academic standards, and has completed dual credit courses through Panola College.

Additionally, she has been an integral band member for six years. Dalia’s impact is recognized by Marcia Albert, student aid supervisor, who describes her as the epitome of resilience, humanity, and optimism both in the classroom and on the field.

The Northeast Texas STAR Foundation proudly nominates Dalia Romero as Tenaha High School’s Female Student-Athlete of the Year.
