Chattanooga, TN – According to the state officials, the exercise will be carried out in Bradley, Coffee, Davidson, Gibson, Hamilton, Hawkins, Knox, Loudon, Madison, Maury, McMinn, Rhea, Rutherford, Sullivan, and Wilson counties.

Multiple police and fire departments, including those of Chattanooga, Knox County, and the Tennessee Valley Authority, along with the Nashville Fire Department’s Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team, will be actively participating.

Coordination of all events will be managed by the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency in conjunction with local emergency management agencies.

This year’s exercise scenario revolves around the emergency response to a flood in southeast Tennessee.

Participants will collaborate to address various situations, including search and rescue operations, critical site security, and responding to infrastructure failures.

Expect to observe an increased military presence in certain areas throughout the state, particularly in Davidson, Hamilton, and Knox counties.
