Hailey Welch, who rose to fame on TikTok as "The Hawk Tuah Girl," has created a sweet ' explainer video ' alongside her friend to explain her viral fame to her grandmother. Welch 21, whose recent fame has seen her party with A-list athletes and be brough t on stage by country star Zach Bryan during a Nashville concert , is close to her grandmother, Ganny Janie.

In a previous interview, Ganny Janie, a native of Tennessee, said she couldn't quite comprehend her granddaughter's sudden ascension to online fame. "I don't know how to feel, it's crazy. I never thought anything like this would happen. It's just too much to comprehend," she said.

She continued: "I just want her to stay with me as long as I'm here." With her grandmother in mind, Welch - alongside her friend, Jax, @jax on Instagram - starred in a sweet video on Instagram , 'explaining' her hawk tuah gimmick in the form of song, with her friend enthusiastically playing a keyboard.
