Nine men have won over 50 singles matches at Wimbledon in the Open Era, with Roger Federer the only man to break the 100-win barrier.
Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Pete Sampras and Bjorn Borg are some of the other tennis legends who feature among the men with the most triumphs at Wimbledon .
Here, we look at the 11 players with the most men’s singles victories at Wimbledon in the Open Era.
=10. Goran Ivanisevic – 49
Goran Ivanisevic finished his career with a 49-14 match record at Wimbledon, having made his debut in 1988 and his final appearance in 2004.
The Croatian competed at the All England Club on 15 occasions and famously won Wimbledon as a wildcard in 2001 after having lost in three finals.

Stefan Edberg compiled a 49-12 Wimbledon record, having made his debut at the grass-court Major in 1983 and his last appearance in 1996.
The Swede played at Wimbledon 14 times and was a two-time champion, while he was also a beaten finalist on one occasion.
Pete Sampras compiled a 63-7 record at Wimbledon, where he made his debut in 1989 and his last appearance in 2002.
The American played at Wimbledon 14 times and won all seven of the finals he reached at the All England Club.
4. Boris Becker – 71
Boris Becker amassed a 71-12 record at Wimbledon from his 15 appearances at the grass-court Grand Slam.
The German secured three Wimbledon crowns from the seven finals he reached, having made his debut in 1984 and his last appearance in 1999.
3. Jimmy Connors – 84
Jimmy Connors finished his career with an 84-18 match record at Wimbledon, having made his debut in 1972 and his last appearance in 1992.
The American competed at the All England Club on 20 occasions and was a two-time winner, as well as a four-time runner-up.
2. Novak Djokovic – 92
Novak Djokovic holds a 92-11 record at Wimbledon and could add to his win tally if he competes at the upcoming 2024 edition of the grass-court Grand Slam.
The Serbian has claimed seven titles at Wimbledon — the joint-second highest men’s total — and has also been a runner-up twice in his 18 appearances since his debut in 2005.
