Carroll ISD to accept budget reduction committee applications starting July 22
The committee will be comprised of approximately 20 members of the community along with board members, principals and other district staff members. Community members can volunteer to serve on the committee and the district will begin accepting applications July 22.

As of Monday night, Hurricane Beryl is expected to continue on a westerly path across the Caribbean. Beryl, which is now a record holder for the strongest hurricane so early in the season, is currently at CAT 5 storm but it is expected to weaken as it arrives in the Yucatan this weekend.

TEXAS — A Texas juvenile has been arrested after the Collin County Sheriff's Office, Tyler Police Department, Smith County Sheriff's Office and the FBI executed a search warrant in Smith County on Saturday, June 29.
