TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Red Room Cakery had a busy morning celebrating their 10-year anniversary with the community on Saturday.

The local bakery was packed within the first hour of being opened with many faces of the community. The celebration had biscuits & gravy, baked goods, pizza, and even Santa and Mrs. Clause payed a visit.

Owner Jamie Chesterson says the key to keeping the business thriving is to always believe in yourself.

“Always follow your dreams. If you think you can do something, if you want to try it, go for it. Don’t let anybody tell you otherwise, you know.”

Chesterson stated how it’s hard to run a business, but if you don’t give up, anything is possible.

Red Room Cakery is located at 3641 Murphy Street in Terre Haute. The bakery has many baked goods, pastries, and cakes for sale for those in the community.
