TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – American Legion Riders Post 104 participated in the Department of Indiana legacy run.

Motorcycle riders, from all areas of the state, drove to Indianapolis together to raise money.

Post 104 is one of the more active posts in Indiana, according to Rider Director Norris Keirn. They raise money for charities and organizations that help people of all ages and backgrounds.

Terre Haute will also benefit from this ride as Post 104 says the money they raise today will get back into the community.

“We do boys state, boys nation, we do oratorical contests. A lot of young people, through the American Legion programs, are able to get scholarships, the top winners.”

    Norris Keirn

The American Legion will be riding in another legacy run next month. For information on how to get involved, visit their website .
