Sheriff John Plasse funeral services expected route

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office has released and update to the late Sheriff Plasse’s funeral services via Facebook .

Monday July 29 at the Hulman Center form 12 p.m.- 2 p.m. is the public visitation. The following services at 2 p.m. will be open to the public. Private Graveside services will follow.

A parking map for Mondays services and a full processional route will be posted over the weekend. The general public can use the Indiana State University’s parking garage on 8 Street that is attached to the transit. The convention center parking garage is not open.

The procession route is estimated to start around 3:30 p.m. but that is subject to change. The route is expected to go west from Cherry Street from the Hulman Center, then south on First Street, to the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office, then east on Davis Drive, north on Seventh Street by the Terre Haute Police Department, and then headed east on Highway 40/Wabash Ave. We will update with more information as it comes along.
