CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH - The Cuyahoga Falls Firefighter Memorial Foundation will make a Pancake Breakfast and Open House on Sunday, September 5 from 8 Am until 12:00 Pm at Fire Station #3, 1601 Portage Trail. The new Fire Station #3 will be open to the public for tours. A pancake breakfast will be offered for $8 per person, with a $40 maximum per family.

The money that is being collected from the pancake breakfast will help the Cuyahoga Falls Firefighter Memorial Foundation. A memorial site will be built at Fire Station #1, 1924 Front Street, and funds are now being obtained for its design and construction.

“I am excited to finally be able to welcome the community to come together to see and enjoy our beautiful new Fire Station #3,” stated Cuyahoga Falls Fire Chief Chris Martin. He continued to say that he is immensely proud of all of the firefighters who are trying to raise funds for the firefighter monument and that he is thankful for all of the support that the Cuyahoga Falls Firefighter Memorial Foundation has received.

Pancakes, sausage, orange juice, and coffee will be served as part of a breakfast buffet provided by Chris Cakes Catering. Parking will be available at Bolich Middle School, with the Cuyahoga Falls Fire Department providing shuttle service to those who require it. There will be t-shirt sold at the event and will have raffle baskets. Visitors will be able to see preliminary drawings for the memorial in addition to tours.
