    The city of Sandusky Hosts Neighborhood Ice Cream Socials this September

    SANDUSKY, OH - This September, prepare to yell "I Scream for Ice Cream!" Because the City of Sandusky will be hosting Neighborhood Ice Cream Socials every Wednesday evening starting on The first day of September until October 6, 2021.

    Citizens of Sandusky are welcomed to enjoy delectable choices of ice cream and refreshments with their fellow neighbors, this six-week event is also a great opportunity to meet city staff as well as the City Commissioners, the citizens can have an update regarding programs happening in the neighborhood, and also have a chance to bestow ideas for strengthening the City’s neighborhoods along with the City quality as a whole.

    The following locations will be the place for the event will take in that week. Keep in mind that all Ice Cream socials will take place on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 pm until finish:

    Wednesday, September 1

    Talon Flohr Park

    1321 Cleveland Road

    Wednesday, September 8

    Churchwell Park

    1607 S. Forest Drive

    Wednesday, September 15

    Sandusky Rec

    222 Meigs Street

    Wednesday, September 22

    Lions Park

    Baltimore Street & Milan Road

    For those who can't join the event on Wednesday evenings, no need to worry because there will be an additional get-together with refreshments the next Thursday morning at 10. The location for the event will be in the same place as the Wednesday evening meeting.
