ECDI to hold a Virtual Workshop regarding Organizational Types and Considerations

    2021-08-30

Akron, OH - Economic and Community Development Institute or ECDI will conduct a workshop on August 31.

The workshop is titled Organizational Types and Considerations. This workshop is a product of the partnership between Women's Business Centers of Ohio and ECDI.

The Women's Business Center is a reference center for anyone interested in beginning a firm or assisting an existing business in reaching its full potential.

The ladies have access to laptops and PCs, notary and printing services, networking opportunities, and one-on-one counseling for a small annual membership fee.

The Women's Business Center and ECDI give a similar purpose. For ECDI, small business owners can benefit from their entire portfolio of services, which includes training, education, and customer or client services.

It is said that ECDI programs and services are part of a larger anti-poverty strategy that gives at-risk communities access to banking services and financial possibilities.

All in all, allowing them to join the economic mainstream.

The upcoming workshop encourages entrepreneurs to select a business structure that provides the perfect mix of legal protections and advantages.

The workshop contains one-person business, limited and limited liability partnerships, general partnerships, Limited Liability Company or LLC, C-corporation, and S-corporation.

There will be a discussion about the general characteristics, benefits, and drawbacks of each of these organizational styles for small enterprises.

For that purpose, the two organizations hope you will have a better idea of which organizational structure is best for your small firm.

If you are interested in this workshop, you can go to their Facebook page to participate in this 11:00 PM virtual workshop.
