    2021-08-30

Akron, OH - The 2021 Myers School of Art Faculty Exhibition will be held in the Emily Davis Gallery at The University of Akron's Mary Schiller Myers School of Art.

For a long time, The Mary Schiller Myers School of Art's objective is to provide high-quality education in fine arts, art history, design, and art education at The University of Akron.

They contribute to the region's visual culture and beyond by providing excellence in teaching, research, and community service.

The school is also dedicated to maintaining an open enrollment policy that welcomes all students interested in pursuing a career in the arts and design.

This upcoming exhibition features 28 faculty and staff members that reflect various aspects of Myers' vibrant community of practicing artists. Plus you can join them for the reception of the exhibition.

The 2021 Myers School of Art Faculty Exhibition is on August 30 and lasts on October 1. Come to The University of Akron Myers School of Art at 150 E Exchange St on the designated date.

Join them as they are thrilled for the celebration of their 25th year as a named school.

The organizer claimed to be ecstatic to honor people influencing the next generation of artists and designers.

Paintings, ceramics, graphic design, metals, mixed media, digital media, photography, prints, and sculpture are among the pieces on display.

There will also be current research, pieces created during the pandemic, and recent residencies are among the highlights.

This event is entirely free and open to the general public. But, note that everyone in indoor public places at the university must wear a mask or face-covering, regardless of vaccination status.
