The small but mighty team at the Los Alamos Cooperative Market broke $10,000 in sales on Sunday and nearly $73,000 for the week. Consultant John Mabbott cheered on the team saying, ‘Great job! Breaking 10 on a Sunday rocks … we’re just getting started!’ The Co-op Board brought in Mabbott last month to turn around the struggling store and revenues on Sunday and last week indicate a strong move in the right direction. The 4 Corners Carbon Coalition, a group of cities and counties in the Western U.S., has awarded $335,000 to four projects designed to combat climate change and reduce wildfire risks by sucking carbon from the air.
