WEST ORANGE, NJ — The township announced that the final phase of road improvements will begin Monday, August 26, on Conforti Avenue and Valley Way -- weather permitting. The contractor is Reggio Construction, Inc., of Palisades Park, NJ. On the first day, workers will be milling from Eagle Rock Avenue toward the intersection of Hooper Avenue and Carteret Street. A Year of Change: Fall 2023
The fall of 2023 brought many changes to Fordham University’s campus, from the closing of the McShane Campus Center dining hall to updated safety policies. Destination dining was introduced in the fall, replacing the central Marketplace with two smaller halls and various food trucks and carts. While there were mixed opinions on the temporary dining halls, most students enjoyed the introduction of the CHOMP food truck.

Intruders Disrupt Quiet Night in Erwin Park Road in Montclair
MONTCLAIR, NJ - A burglary was reported last week, police officials announced Tuesday. As they were peering through their window, they were alarmed to see two vehicles parked at the edge of their driveway. They noticed at least two men on their property carrying flashlights. Teen, two women attacked outside Theater District restaurant
Two women and a teenage girl were attacked in the Theater District.Police say the victims were in front of Carmine's Restaurant on 44th Street when another woman came up and punched all three of them.Two of the victims, ages 14 and 49, went to the hospital for treatment.The other victim is 58.
