Underage biker gang: At 4:46 p.m. July 2, Teton County dispatch received a complaint about unidentified kids riding electric dirt bikes at speeds of up to 40 mph on the bike paths near South Park Loop. Notes from the dispatcher said this was the third day kids were seen riding the motor vehicles recklessly on the bike paths.
Teton County Search and Rescue rounds out another winter season
Teton County Search and Rescue has gotten faster. The volunteer-only team, which has a new community-funded helicopter, had 46 calls and 27 successful helicopter rescues in six months, each averaging one hour and 36 minutes in flight time.
Felony case bound over to District Court
Two separate felony cases involving a South Dakota couple who discharged a firearm and bear spray during a campsite altercation June 24 were bound over to Teton County District Court on Wednesday. Defense attorneys asserted that the alleged victim was actually a perpetrator and alleged that she was burglarizing the couple’s home.
