There are fewer tennis matches this week as more students start going back to school. Cheyenne South hosts Laramie to kick off the week and there are just a few more matches until the weekend. The busiest day this week is Thursday as Torrington heads to battle the Casper schools, Laramie faces a key match in Cheyenne Central, and Jackson will dual Cody and Powell. Campbell County and Thunder Basing girls' teams head to the Rapid City Invite on Friday. Kelly Walsh and Natrona County play down in Green River and Rock Springs on Friday as well.

Cowgirls Soccer loses home opener 3–0 against South Dakota State
LARAMIE, Wyo. — Following a 3–0 loss to South Dakota State during the first home game of the 2024 season, the University of Wyoming Women’s Soccer Team is now 0–2–1. From the beginning of regulation, the South Dakota State Jackrabbits outperformed the Pokes in multiple categories. Sixteen total shots and nine corners from the Jackrabbits compared to 10 and four from the Pokes meant that South Dakota found its way to more efficient scoring opportunities. The final box score of 3–0 for the Jackrabbits reflects that.
