And, they knocked the door all the way down this spring—not only winning a regional but winning a sectional and making it to the championship game of the Class 1A State Tournament. The Indians were a very solid team—-but they weren’t a dominant team. They won 4 one-run games in the post-season and had 2 walk off wins. They played a very strong schedule and got off to a bit of a slow start before getting things going. They used very solid pitching and timely hitting to have the best year in school history—31 total wins and a 2nd place finish at the state tournament.
