UNION, NJ – The Union Fire Department has been approved to receive a $75,000 award from the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Firefighters program. The state award, announced by Senator Joe Cryan on behalf of Governor Philip D. Catherine Grace Hanlon, 97 of Wall Twp. and formerly of Roselle passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune after a brief illness. Catherine was born in Elizabeth to the late Thomas J. and Mary A. (née Duffy) Hanlon and had resided in Roselle for many years before.
