Verona Police Department Promotes Officer, Sergeant
VERONA, NJ — Verona Police recently promoted an officer and a sergeant, as friends, family and other members of the community watched. Officer Aaron Seubert was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and Sgt. Plainfield Police Encourage Residents to Lock Car Doors, Keep Items Out of View
PLAINFIELD, NJ — Starting Tuesday last week, the Plainfield Police Department began to encourage Plainfield residents to lock their cars and hide items from view. "Lock your cars after exiting," reads the statement that has been posted on the city's Facebook page two more times since the initial warning. 5 dogs abandoned in NJ home, in nailed-shut closets with cig burns
IRVINGTON — Five neglected pit bulls were rescued from an abandoned home in the Essex County Township, according to a report by News 12. The Best Friend Dog and Animal Adoption in Cranford was first alerted to two dogs left outside the property on July 3. Upon further investigation, rescuers went into the house and found three other pit bulls in the basement, nailed inside closets with no food and water, said The Best Friend Dog and Animal Adoption president, Lauren Denoma.
