    Police, game warden relocate alligator from property in Texarkana

    TEXARAKANA, Texas ( KETK ) – Texarkana Police got a call regarding an alligator on the loose near St. Michael Drive.

    According to a post on their Facebook, the Texarkana PD had trouble rounding up the scaly trespasser.

    “As you might have guessed, this was a new one on us, but we came up with a plan to deal with the problem. However, things were a little hairy for a while, because the alligator really wasn’t on board with our plan at all. Actually, he wasn’t having any of it. At one point, Officer Dewey Fleming discovered just how fast he could move when the alligator suddenly expressed his displeasure and lunged at him.”

    The police department said that they were able to enlist the help of a game warden to finally catch and relocate the alligator “far, far, far away from town.”
