President Biden, and Chuck Schumer,declared a major victory for the Democratic Party when SCOTUS upheld that both Georgia and Texas cannot enforce new laws arresting, or detaining, people who have entered the country through one of the United States borders, or by air. These two cases affirm the open border policy of this administration as legitimate. A federal judge on Friday dismissed a lawsuit by Republican officials in Texas that sought to shut down a federal program that has allowed hundreds of thousands of migrants to fly to U.S. airports, preserving,for now, a policy central to the Biden administration's immigration agenda. These two rulings will allow President Biden to fly in 30,000 Migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela monthly and be given work permits. The ruling by the Supreme Court further signals that the open border policy of this administration is legal and could spell that President Biden could push to codify this against any future legal challenges.
