A couple of more days with Heat Advisories and then our first in a series of weather changes are on the way!

We're waking up to a clear sky with temperatures ranging between 75° and 81°. It's pretty thick out as well, but at least we have a bit of a breeze blowing this morning. It's a good time to take a brisk walk, a bike ride and walk your dog. This is the coolest part of the day! More Heat Advisories today with an afternoon high close to 100°. It'll feel more like 106° during the mid-afternoon. Rinse and repeat this forecast tomorrow.

Wednesday is our transition day with a bit more cloud cover through the day and afternoon highs approaching 100° again. We could have one more day with a Heat Advisory and then we're done for a while.

A slow moving cold front will ease into north Texas late Wednesday into Thursday producing scattered showers and thunderstorms. Areas along and north of Interstate 20 have the best chance Wednesday evening. These chances sag south through the day on Wednesday along with the cold front. Highs on Thursday will struggle to get above 90°.

Slightly drier air will filter in behind the front, so Friday's will be a bit more comfortable with highs in the low 90s... with an isolated shower storm possible south and east of the area.

Saturday will be a seasonable day with low humidity. Afternoon highs will warm into the middle 90s. Heat index values will be slightly above 100°.

Our next weather change looks to arrive sometime Sunday into Monday of next week, as our next system approaches from the northwest. It's still way too early to say how widespread the rain will be and how cool the temperatures will feel. Stay tuned, I will have updates throughout the week, but it does look promising!

Have a terrific day, stay hydrated, and please enjoy the weather when you can, it's the only weather you've got!
