Barwise to update dress code

WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — A local middle school will start this year with an adjusted dress code.

Barwise Middle School, one of three local middle schools, will be following the Wichita Falls ISD dress code with minor modifications.

This change comes after Barwise previously had a stricter dress code, including the requirement that students wear solid-colored shirts.

The modifications – specific to Barwise – are no holes in jeans more than 3″ above the knee, no house shoes, no pajama tops or bottoms, and no leggings or yoga pants.

The Wichita Falls ISD dress code can be found on their website on page 47 of the student handbook.
