    WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) —

A mother has been jailed after being found in a burned-down vacant house after charges of child endangerment were filed.

Yesenia Pacheco, 44, has been charged with criminal trespass and abandoning/endangering a child.

On Monday, July 22, around 10 a.m., WFPD was dispatched to the 1500 block of N 8th St. to assist detectives in locating Pacheco wanted for abandoning/endangering a child.

Between May 20 and June 4, Pacheco and her two children were tested for drugs by CPS.

One child was 15 years old and did not meet the requirement for abandoning or endangering a child, but the 9-year-old was tested by a hair specimen on June 4, which revealed positive for both methamphetamine and cocaine.

The children were removed from Pacheco’s custody at the hospital and placed into foster care.
