This year, WFISD Superintendent Dr. Donny Lee is a fresh-faced ‘dillo derby racer against WFPD Police Chief Manuel Borrego, WFFD Fire Chief Donald Hughes and Mayor Tim Short.

Wichita Falls Area Crime Stoppers are asking for your support through their virtual armadillo race. Your donation supports your favorite chief, which might move your armadillo leader ahead of the others and lead to victory.

Your donation will also help Crime Stoppers work to keep our schools and communities safer.

Website opens for Texoma Gives early giving

In the past two years, former Mayor Stephen Santellana has been victorious, and he’s challenged each of the other chiefs to raise as much as him to unseat him.

If you’d like to show your support, you can donate online or by scanning the QR code in this story’s featured image.

Then, on Thursday, Sept. 5th, we’ll let you know which chief was victorious on KFDX 3 News at 10.
