WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — A few days after a daughter pleaded to burglary, her mother followed up with a plea deal for the same sentence.

Dana Taylor, 56, was placed on 5 years probation with 240 of community service to perform and a $500 fine. Her daughter, Marcia Robinson, 35, made the same plea deal in 89th District Court earlier this month.

In July 2023, police say a man on Prairie Lace Lane called, yelling that he needed help because his wife was trying to break down the door.

When police arrived, the man said he and his wife, Marcia Robinson, were going through a divorce and she came to take their children from him.

He said he would not let her in, and she began yelling and kicking on the door. He said Robinson kept kicking and prying until it split, and she got one arm in and scratched his face, then got inside and grabbed two of their three children and left.

Three hours later, he called and said Robinson came back with her mother, Dana Taylor, trying to break the door down again. When police arrived, both women were still there and were arrested.

The victim told officers both women got in the house and were forcibly removed and the mother, Dana Taylor, went to her car and came back with a gun.

When she was told police were on their way back, the victim said Taylor put the gun back in her car. Police found a handgun in the front passenger door panel.
