WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — Wichita Falls police and Allred Prison officers made an arrest and seized drugs they said were meant to be smuggled into the prison.

One killed in downtown Wichita Falls train crash

Just before 4 p.m. Thursday, September 5, officers had a location at Seymour Highway and Loop 11 under surveillance and said the suspect, Zachary McClain, arrived in a black SUV.

They said McClain had arranged to meet another person there to take delivery of around a pound of meth.

They said he got out and took the pink bag containing meth from the other subject.

Officers said McClain knew the meth he was picking up was meant for delivery inside the prison.

McClain was arrested for the manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance of more than 4 grams and had a bond set at $100,000.

How would a pound of meth make it in prison? I think the guards should get checked before entering?!?

They’ll turn him loose. They care more about making money than actually getting drugs off of the streets.
