HENRIETTA ( KFDX/KJTL ) — According to a Facebook post by the City of Henrietta, effective 9:52 p.m. of Friday, Sep. 7, 2024, a water leak has been repaired and water services has been restored for all customers.

According to the post, there is no need to report the activity of hydrants as flushing water lines is a normal procedure.

However, the City of Henrietta and Clay County Texas stated on separate Facebook posts that Henrietta’s water customers are under a “Boil Water Notice.”

This is due to loss of water pressure during the major water line repair that happened late Friday afternoon.

The Boil Water Notice is in effect until Tuesday, Sep. 10, 2024.

If that information were to change, the City of Henrietta will update their site.

This is a developing story. Stick with Texoma’s Homepage for updates as more information becomes available.
