WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — Near average temperatures will be the general rule for Texoma in the coming days, with a brief warmup heading into the weekend. In the meantime, Wichita Falls will have an overnight low tonight (Saturday) of 57 degrees and a high on Sunday of 85 degrees. Lawton will also have an overnight low of 57 degrees and a high on Sunday of 86 degrees.

High pressure to the west will be the first influencer of the weather pattern over Texoma as it begins to build and shift eastward into the central and southern plains. In the meantime, another tropical disturbance continues to develop in the gulf. This area of low pressure will continue to shift further northward, gradually aiding in warming temperatures and increasing low-level moisture toward the middle and end of the week. Rain chances are minimal heading into next weekend.
