WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — After one year in business, the Delta Hotel here in Wichita Falls has already become a huge attraction to the city.

A full-service hotel with 200 guestrooms, The Wellborn 2R Steakhouse is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a convention center, this 4.5-star hotel has become a top choice for travelers and locals.

One of the hotel’s goals was to establish strong ties with the Wichita Falls community.

From hosting local events to providing space for conferences, weddings, and other gatherings, the Delta Hotel has become a hub for social and business activities.

According to the Delta Hotel’s General Manager, Tom Pugh, the first year was filled with growth, challenges, and rewarding moments.

“I really appreciate the level of support. You know, many, many times, I’ve had different people tell me they’re rooting for this facility and really see it be successful; we’re so excited to have here. We just couldn’t ask for better community support. So it’s been really amazing,” Pugh said.

Looking forward, the Delta Hotel wants to bring in new business and events to Wichita Falls.

As the Delta Hotel reflects on a successful year, it’s clear that the hotel is well on its way to becoming a staple in Wichita Falls’ hospitality scene.
