Midwestern State and Vernon College host conference opponents

TEXOMA (KFDX/KJTL) — Midwestern State women’s soccer, volleyball, football and Vernon College volleyball hosted conference games.

Midwestern State | Football

Head coach Rich Renner and his Midwestern State football team played its first home Lone Star Conference game of the season.

The Falcons of UT-Permian Basin defeated the Mustangs 27-3 at Joe Golding Field at Memorial Stadium.

Midwestern State | Women’s Soccer

The Midwestern State Mustangs hosted The University of Texas at Tyler for a Lone Star Conference match.
The Mustangs defeated the Patriots 2-1.

Midwestern State | Volleyball

The Midwestern State Mustangs hosted the Lubbock Christian Lady Chapparals for a Lone Star Conference game.

The Lady Chaps defeated the Mustangs in four sets:

• 24-26
• 25-23
• 25-14
• 25-9

Vernon College | Volleyball

The Vernon College Lady Chapparals hosted the North Central Texas College Lady Lions for an NJCAA Region V match.

The Lady Lions defeated the Lady Chaps in three sets:

• 26-24
• 25-17
• 25-21
