Athlete of the week: Isaac Willden | Wichita Christian football

Texoma had at least a dozen athletes worthy of taking home the KFDX athlete of the week honor this week.

Ultimately, we selected a football standout who got the job done on both sides of the ball on Friday night.

Wichita Christian’s Isaac Willden threw for 255 yards and four touchdowns. He ran for 129 yards and two more scores in the Stars 47-31 win over Newcastle. Willden also had one interception, one sack and five tackles for the Stars who improved to 5-0 establishing themselves as a legitimate state-title contender.

As part of earning our honor as athlete of the week, Wichita Christian’s Isaac Willden will be featured on the digital billboard on Lawrence Road throughout the rest of the week.
