The manager of the Which Wich on Grant Street called the police on March 10, 2023, and said two employees and a third person were in the store after closing, trying to break into the safe.

Police met him at the store, and he showed them a live video from the security camera on his phone.

When officers entered, they found Garies and a female still there and a bag containing about $300 cash taken from the register. They also found a variety of tools on the floor next to the safe, along with broken pieces of the safe.

They said the suspects admitted they were trying to break into the safe, which the manager said contained about $5,500.

The second suspect’s case is still pending and police reports did not specify what became of the third suspect.

Why just a slap on the hand? That shop owner is a very sweet man. He probably would have given them some money if they would've asked him. This is the wrong move on the Court.

Criminals rule not the court. Suspended sentence enables. He should pay consequences for his lawlessness and and serve jail time.
