WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — The Community Healthcare Center of Wichita Falls is celebrating 30 years of service to the community with a ribbon-cutting and a private ceremony honoring its services.

The federally qualified health center opened in 1994 with humble beginnings, but it has since grown to operate 13 clinical facilities across four cities, including pediatric, dental, and women’s healthcare clinics.

CHC provided over 122,000 healthcare visits to more than 31,000 patients in the community in 2023 alone. CEO Allen Patterson said the services the CHC provides to patients in the area is essential to helping the community thrive, and they’re proud to continue serving those in need for the next 30 years.

“We come to work each day knowing that we make a difference in the community that we live in, and we go home each day thankful that we made an additional increment to that benefit to the community, and we’re gonna keep doing it,” he said.

Then, the Community Healthcare Center continued marking 30 years of service with a private celebration to honor its service to Texoma, held at the J.S. Bridwell Ag Center.

Congratulations to the Center on this big achievement!
