WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJLT ) — The 2024 Halloween spooky season is here, and there are many haunts to visit in and around Texoma.

This list includes many attractions not only in Wichita Falls but also surrounding areas.

These haunts include a “Rated-R,” full-contact haunted house where you must sign a waiver to get in, a couple of haunted hay rides, a haunted asylum, a nightmare on Main Street, and some that the whole family can enjoy.

Haunted Houses and events around the Texoma area

• “Haunting at the Falls Asylum”
  • Dates: October, Fridays & Saturdays only , 8 p.m.- 12 a.m.
  • Base Camp Lindsey: 1908 6th Street, Wichita Falls, Texas
  • Admission: $10 for adults or $5 for 16 and younger. Cash or Venmo only.

• 27 Scares Haunted House
  • Dates: October 19 & 26, 2024 , 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.
  • House located behind 3T Meats. 1002 S Hwy 79, Olney, Texas
  • Admission: $10 cash or Venmo. Proceeds go to graduating classes of 2027 and 2028.

• Holliday Haunted Hayride & Pumpkin Patch
  • Dates: October, Fridays & Saturdays only, 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.
  • 9675 Hwy 82 Service Road, Wichita Falls, Texas
  • Family fun or date night—all ages welcome. Pumpkins are available for purchase.
  • Admission: $15 per person.

• Haunted Hayride Henrietta Project Graduation 2025
  • Dates: Oct. 26, 7 p.m.- midnight & Oct. 27, 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. only .
  • Henrietta Rodeo Grounds
  • Admission: $10. Concessions and ‘Beat a Car’ will also be available.

• Nightmare On Main St. Haunted House
  • Dates: October, Fridays & Saturdays only , 7:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Open Halloween, 7:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • 1620 Main Street, Vernon, Texas
  • Attraction admission: $15 each, or combo admission: $25

• Halloween Fun Weekends
  • Dates: October weekends only
  • Yogi Bears Jellystone Park Camp Resort, 14145 U.S. 287 North, Wichita Falls, Texas

• The Mosley Family Home Haunt
  • Dates: October 31 only , 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Fourth annual Mosley Family Home Haunt, Lawton, Okla.
  • Partners with Skeletons for St. Jude. Free haunted house and goodies.
  • In honor and remembrance of their late grandson, Memphis.

• “Tower of Terrors”
  • Dates: October, Thursday-Sunday only, 7 p.m. – midnight
  • Old L.O. Office Supply building: 917 Scott Avenue, Wichita Falls, Texas
  • Admission: $20. Tickets are sold online.
