Athlete of the week: Keegan Hayes | Benjamin

We had quite the decision to make when it came to naming our athlete of the week. After soliciting thoughts from a panel of four others, their results came back split 2-2.

Ultimately, the nod goes to Benjamin Mustang Keegan Hayes. The sophomore quarterback stuffed the stat sheet on Friday night in his teams huge road victory over Cherokee.

6-man football can be high flying and the Mustangs offense was just that, scoring 106 points.

Here are Keegan’s week six stats:

Rushing: 27 carries for 302 yards abd six touchdowns.
In the air: completed 25-of-30 passes for 413 yards and 7 touchdowns.

Do the math, that is over 700 yards of total offense with 13 scores!

As part of being named our athlete of the week, Keegan Hayes will be featured on the digital billboard on Lawrence Road here in Wichita Falls throughout the week.
