Brian Manning is now charged, along with previous suspects Rose Ann Johnson and Rosenna Borders, with robbery from engaging in organized criminal activity.

Police said it happened at a house on Michigan Street last February when the female victim said Johnson stormed into the house and accused her of “messing” with a man, even though she already had a man.

She said Johnson and another woman identified as Borders began beating her with their fists, and her medication, a bottle of Xanax, was stolen.

Police said Johnson later came to the police department to give her version of events, and showed them a video on her phone police say was recorded by Manning, the owner of the home.

They said it shows the victim and Johnson fighting while Manning records it, moving away from the house and into the street where they are fighting on the ground.

Police say a voice believed to be Manning is heard saying, “Kick her in the face.” Johnson says she wasn’t going to kick her, and then she kicks the victim in the face.

Officers said the video shows Borders pulling the victim’s hair and Manning asking, “Where’s her purse?” Borders grabs the pill bottle and a pair of glasses that fell from the purse and walks away.
