The Electra Tigers are 6-0 and they’ve won those games by an average of 21 points. You may be thinking when was the last time the tigers went 7-0? Well, that would have been 1988, 36 years ago. Just like that 1988 team, the Tigers, this year, are doing it with offense and defense.

The names have changed. That 1988 team was coached by Mark Bateman. Luke Kimbro was the quarterback and a 2-time All-State defensive back. Lenord Leviston was a standout running back who also won state in the 110-hurdles.

This year’s Tigers are led by Josh McKiddy. His son Ian is the quarterback, and Braylon Nava is the area’s leader with 85 tackles thru six games.
