On 4-29-2024 at approximately 02:13 am calls came in for a reckless driver on Buchanan Road. Vehicle did crash into a fire hydrant and flipped on its side. Occupants did flee on foot into a nearby apartment complex but were not located. Contra Costa Fire and Public works were called in to shut up of hydrant. Vehicle was towed away and hydrant was shut off. The crash is under investigation by Pittsburg Police Department. It is possibly a DUI but has not yet been confirmed
