FATAL AUTO VS PED ON FREEWAY. On 6-9-2024 at approximately 5:25am call came in for a vehicle vs pedestrian on Southbound Highway 242 just before the interstate 680 interchange located in Concord Ca. Upon arrival the vehicle that hit the pedestrian was heavily damaged and the force of the impact destroyed the windshield of the Tesla and the pedestrian was unfortunately pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the Tesla was uninjured, but a bit shaken up. CHP will be investigating.

For all the people that thinks that man was a homeless! Let me tell you: he wasn’t a homeless or bad person!! he was my father an excellent father, a working person a lovely and respectful man. And yes my family and I have the same question, what was he doing on freeway at this time. I only can tell you: that wasn’t only a simple “accident”
