PG&E POLE CATCHES FIRE! On 7-4-2024 at approximately 12:22 am calls came in for a vegetation fire on the side of freeway on Eastbound hwy 4 right before the Railroad Ave off ramp. Calls also reported a PG&E pole also involved. Upon arrival of fire crews they got a quick handle on the grass fire on the freeway side but there was also another fire burning on the other side of the sound wall which called for a vegetation response.
