    Country music and barbecue.

That's the tasty combination the new Feels Like Home Festival is cooking up to debut this fall in Brownwood, according to organizers. The festival will feature craft barbecue and a lineup of country artists.

Ticket sales kick off Friday for the Oct. 19 festival set for the Brownwood Event Center Complex at 601 E Baker St, according to media releases. Tickets will be available for purchase beginning 10 a.m. on www.feelslikehomefest.com .

The family friendly fest is for all ages. The music lineup features the group Midland as the headliners, following the release of their latest album to be out Sept 20.

The double-Grammy-nominated urban cowboys will be joined by fellow Texas musicians Casey Donahew, Micky and the Motorcars and Hudson Westbrook, as well as singer-songwriter Tyler Halverson who just released "New Loop" for the film "Twisters."

The festival will also offer one of the first opportunities for the public to check out the soon-to-open Brownwood Event Center, a multimillion dollar facility.
