    Hendrick Hospice Care to host infant loss memorial

    October is designated as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, and Hendrick Hospice Care invites the community to a Wave of Light event to honor babies gone too soon.

    The Wave of Light event marking the conclusion of Baby Loss Awareness Week is globally recognized and will be held locally on Tuesday.

    Attendees will be able to decorate a votive candle and light it at 7 p.m. as part of the worldwide initiative.

    The free event will be held in the Family Room at Hendrick Hospice Care Center, 1651 Pine St., from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

    Participants are encouraged to enter through the front, covered parking entrance.
