Unemployment rate up a little in Monroe County for May

MCSO recovers Fentanyl in Mason Road bust
On Monday, June 17, officers with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence on Mason Road. Recovered from the property was approximately 24 grams of Fentanyl powder, which carries a street value in Monroe County of over $7,000. Also recovered was Buprenorphine, Alprazolam, various drug paraphernalia, and several thousand dollars in currency. Two suspects were placed under arrest and taken to the Monroe County Justice Center.
