Using research compiled by Alliance Historical Society Vice President Michelle Dillon, fellow board member Jack Weber, who is community relations manager at Rodman Public Library, will tell the story when he presents “Only Murders in Alliance, Part II: The Life, Death and Mystery of Mattie Hayes” on Oct. 30. The program, jointly sponsored by Alliance Historical Society, Alliance Area Preservation Society and the Castle Crusaders, will be given at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. in Rodman Auditorium. Registration is required at rodmanlibrary.com. Due to the subject matter, the program is recommended for mature audiences 18 and older.
