Pregame Community Night thrills Marlington fans

Marlington Local students and community members gathered Friday for the school district's annual Community Night celebration. Held before Friday's home football game, the event featured fun for the whole family, with inflatables, face-painting and a chance to get close to a fire truck with a Touch-a-Truck opportunity. A hayride was a popular event, as well, with adults and children getting a ride on a tractor as it tooled around the Lexington Township area. The warm night was tempered by a visit from the KONA Ice truck, and $1 hot dogs, chips, soda, cotton candy and water kept the crowd full. The only downer of the night was Marlington's loss to West Branch, 64-14.
