Bjorn also was the Danish captain at the Olympics. ... Nick Watney is playing on a sponsor exemption. ... An amateur spot went to Jacob Skov Olesen, the British Amateur champion ... Thorbjorn Olesen and Nicolai Hojgaard combined to go 25-under par in the Olympics at Le Golf National. Only the Americans combined to have a better score at the Paris Games. ... The tournament has been part of the European tour schedule since 2014. ... Bernd Wiesberger is the only two-time winner of the tournament.
