“We are thrilled to welcome John Parillo to Tyndall Federal Credit Union as our new President & CEO,” said Board Chairwoman, Frances Martin. John is an esteemed executive leader with more than 23 years of industry experience. He has expertise in driving digital-first initiatives and operating efficiency, which are important for our business model, and he possesses industry knowledge across a wide array of disciplines. “With his strong background in the financial sector and dedication to serving our members, we are confident that John will help us achieve our mission of making a meaningful difference in the lives of our members.”
After an extensive nationwide search, Parillo’s appointment comes after the planned retirement of former President & CEO, Jim Warren, following over 20 years of leadership. Most recently, Parillo was President & CEO for Liberty Bay Credit Union in Braintree, Massachusetts. Prior to working at Liberty Bay CU, Parillo was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Pima FCU in Tucson, AZ and previously held various executive and management positions at Boston-area based banks.
“I am honored to join Tyndall Federal Credit Union as President & CEO and look forward to working with our talented team to continue providing exceptional service to our members,” said Parillo. “I am committed to upholding Tyndall’s member-first philosophy, and I am excited to help drive the organization forward.”
Parillo received both his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, graduating summa cum laude, as well as his Masters in Business Administration, graduating with High Distinction, from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. Parillo is also pursuing a Masters in Business Administration from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Management. Additionally, Parillo is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
As President & CEO, John Parillo will oversee all aspects of the Credit Union’s operations, including strategic planning, financial management, and member engagement. His leadership will be instrumental in guiding TFCU through the ever-changing landscape of the financial industry.
