With three weeks of high school football in the books, it's time to take a look at last week's top fall sports performers.
The athletes featured in this poll represent the best on-field performers from the past week of high school sports competitions around the Augusta area. For nominations for future polls, please email Will Cheney (wcheney@gannett.com) or message him on X (formerly known as Twitter). Augusta-area athletes from Georgia and South Carolina schools are eligible.

Beau Polcha, Augusta Prep football
Polcha carried the football 17 times for 286 yards and six touchdowns in a 49-22 win over Windsor Academy.
Ty Jones, Lakeside football
Jones completed 7 of 11 passes for 121 yards and a touchdown in a 28-19 win over South Aiken. He also added 119 yards and a score on the ground, along with an interception on defense.
EJ Hogan, Evans football
Hogan scored four times (three rushing) in a 38-3 win over Grovetown.
Mekhi Quiller, Fox Creek football
Quiller caught seven passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-24 loss to Dixie. He also returned a kick for a touchdown.
Levi Murphey, Westminster Schools of Augusta football
Murphey completed 7 of 10 passes for 119 yards and three touchdowns in a 51-6 win over Monsignor Donovan.
Lucas Johnson, Westminster Schools of Augusta cross country
Johnson (16:15.00) finished runner-up in the boys varsity race at the Jekyll Island Invitational over the weekend.
Liliana Beemer, Evans cross country
Beemer (18:39.08) finished runner-up in the girls varsity race at the AT&T Starr’s Mill Panther XC Meet over the weekend.
Blakeley Johnson, Lakeside volleyball
Johnson recorded 15 kills, seven aces and four digs in a 2-1 win over Richmond Academy last week.
Evelyn Shaw, Davidson Fine Arts volleyball
Shaw recorded 13 aces and nine assists in a 2-0 win over Josey last week.
Alley McBride, Alleluia Community School volleyball
McBride finished with 14 kills, three aces and 15 digs in a 3-0 win over Harlem last week.
Treasure Story, Grovetown softball
Story went 5-for-6 at the plate with a home run, three doubles and seven RBI in wins over Grovetown and Evans last week.
Kendra McFeely, Cross Creek softball
McFeely recorded a homer and three RBI in a 20-5 win over Richmond Academy last week. She was also the winning pitcher in the circle.
